What will kids learn in this course?
Students discover the core ideas and techniques needed to design and construct websites during this course. They will learn how to design aesthetically appealing and functioning websites using Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS).
How are our classes structured?
First, we dive into HTML coding for kids, so our students become familiar with the backbone of web development which provides the basic structure and layout of online pages. Then, they will learn to control the appearance and layout of web pages by using CSS styling language.
Getting familiar with the basics of website design
By the end of the course, students will:
- have a strong foundation in the core principles of HTML and CSS
- explore various CSS properties and selectors, such as font styles, colors, backgrounds, borders, and positioning
- learn HTML for kids to understand the essential elements and tags such as headings, paragraphs, lists, links, images, tables, and forms
- be able to build the structure and layout of web pages effectively

A comprehensive learning path
Students must complete one level in order to progress to the next level since the concepts taught in our courses are interrelated. This ensures that students have a solid foundation in all of the key programming ideas and principles. They will also learn critical thinking and problem-solving skills that are necessary for success in the digital age.
Result-oriented approach
Each session begins with a 5-minute summary of HTML and CSS for kids from the previous lesson before moving on to a 10-minute discussion of new ideas. Then, students will spend the entire class practicing what they learned in previous lessons. Following the course, students might do short exercises in the LMS, a Kahoot quiz on HTML coding for kids to recap all they have learned or get further challenges.
