How are our classes structured?
Throughout the course, students learn to create WordPress themes from scratch, allowing them to customize the design and layout of their websites. They also learn how to create plugins, increasing their websites’ functionality to fulfill special demands. Course topics include theme structure, the register_menu() function, post loops, custom body classes, particular page layouts, post thumbnails, and incorporating Bootstrap into theme development. Students will also learn about sidebars, WP_Query, custom post types, custom taxonomies, and the Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) plugin.
Mastering custom themes and plugins in WordPress
By the end of our advanced WordPress development courses for kids, students will:
- have the skills and expertise to develop custom themes and plugins using PHP
- be able to create customized websites from the ground up
- have mastered theme structure, custom post types, taxonomies, and the Advanced Custom Fields plugin
- be well-equipped to excel in real-world WordPress projects and confidently tackle complex web development tasks
